Cleopatra – Basically two stories in one. The first part with Caesar and Cleopatra was excellent. Rex Harrison was brilliant. The second part with the focus on Mark Antony dragged on a bit.

Images fill my mind of HJ dressed as Humpty Dumpty, and a giant egg beater looming over him.......... Shocked Embarassed Razz

I have a confession to make. Despite adoring Mr Jackman I am yet to see Van Helsing. I should take steps to sort this.....perhaps when husband is out for an evening. Cool

Not sure this entirely qualifies for this thread, but I have been watching the third series of the Doctor Who spin off 'Torchwood - Children Of Earth'.

It was originally broadcast over 5 evenings. Yes, sci fi. Yes, aliens. Yes a brilliant drama that is compelling, frightening and utterly heartbreaking.

Mark of Love – a nice little romantic comedy. The lead actor reminded me a bit of Ryan Reynolds. In fact, the movie was a somewhat like Definitely, Maybe.

I've seen it a few times. We saw it at the cinema when it was released. Like a lot of films the 3d was distracting and unnecessary and I prefer it on tv, without the 3d!
